Myth 1: Security diminishes productivity.

Myth 2: Cyberattacks are only caused by external threats.

Myth 4: Anti-virus software is enough to secure my business.

Myth 5: Cybersecurity is too expensive.

Truth: The cost of good cybersecurity is nothing compared to a successful attack. The average cost of a breach in 2021 is $4.24 million, therefore cybersecurity offers a huge ROI.


Myth 6: You don't require cybersecurity because you have never been attacked.

Truth: You could easily be the next target. Cybercrime is on the rise and becoming more and more sophisticated, it isn't a matter of if it is a matter of when.


Myth 7: You have achieved total cybersecurity!

Truth: There is no such thing as total or perfect cybersecurity against cyberattacks. As mentioned above cyber attacks are becoming more sophisticated and criminals are adopting new strategies, therefore organizations must remain vigilant and continue to develop their defense-in-depth cyber strategy.
